What am I required to renew each year?

• Currently all E. Passport and IPC holders are required to renew their certification with ASPPB annually. Additionally, APIT (Authorization to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology) and TAP (Temporary Authorization to Practice) renewals begin on 10/1/23 and will coincide with E. Passport and IPC renewal dates. 

How are renewal dates determined?

• Renewal dates are set as 1 year from your initial approval date and recur annually.

Will my renewal date change?

•  No, renewal dates will remain the same.

Where can I find my renewal date?

• To find your renewal date please login to your PSYPRO.org account. Your renewal date will be on the right side of the page.

How do I complete a renewal?

• You will receive an email from PSYPRO.org 90 days, 60 days, and 30 days prior to your renewal date with instructions on completing your E. Passport or IPC renewal. Once you have complete your E. Passport or IPC renewal and it has been reviewed and approved by ASPPB you will receive a second email from noreply@psypro.org letting you know to complete your APIT or TAP renewal application. 

How will this affect the requirement for CE hours?

• The CE requirements will not change, and proof of CE hours will continue to be uploaded when completing E. Passport and/ or IPC renewal applications. For additional questions about CE hours please contact ASPPB, as the CE hours are required for the E. Passport renewal. The E. Passport is issued by ASPPB.
